My take on a Science-Fantasy multi-purpose sniper/automatic-rifle.
The user can switch between the two modes without having to take their hands of the weapon. The weapon also connect to ammunition-coating liquid tanks, so that the user can blanch their ammunition as they see fit.
I started with making a very simple sketch to get the rough idea out. It also helped me get an idea of how the entire gun could be broken down into pieces and components and how everything was connected.
Modeled in Maya, baked and rendered in Marmoset, textured in Substance Painter and Designer!
Two different skins (one Paladin and one Hell Knight).
I was inspired by Mark Van Haitsma's and Frank Capezzuto's previous work on Destiny.
